Hip joint replacement is now a current practice, maybe the most successful invention for the restoring of human motion function. Most part of the researches focused either on the prosthesis material or on the implant fixing solutions. Finding a solution to replacing sliding motion with rolling that was a real challenge. Total Hip Prosthesis with Rolling Friction is replacing the sliding friction making the movement to be easier. This total hip prosthesis comes as a result of multidisciplinary researches developed over 20 years, successfully applied at this moment in laboratory testing conditions. This paperwork is targeting not only researchers and orthopedic implant producers but also physicians, resident physicians and potential subjects.
